By-law 1999/75
A by-law to reduce noise to ensure an environment free from unusual, unnecessary, or excessive sound or vibration which may degrade the quality and tranquility of life or cause nuisance. Such noise can come from construction, equipment, motorized vehicles, fireworks, fire arms, combustion engine, electronic devices, horns, whistles, air pressure release, shouting, and others. This by-law also defines times of noise prohibitions in relation to their zone, such as residential area or quiet zones.
