Commemorating the West Nipissing Police Services

A commemorative plaque is now proudly displayed at the front of the Municipal Office (225 Holditch Street), in recognition of the West Nipissing Police Service (also formerly the Sturgeon Falls Police), for its years of service and commitment to the community.

Designed by local Graphic Designer Howie Longfellow from CrimsonPepper, the plaque consists of a commemorative message in both official languages and a collection of service badges “flashes” from throughout the years.

A thank you is extended to all those involved in this project.

The commemorative plaque is accessible to the public to foster an appreciation of local history.”
— Mayor Joanne Savage.
