All municipal boat launches are open at no cost. Overnight parking is not permitted. Please follow all public health measures and adhere to gathering restrictions on and off the waterways.
Community and Recreation Centre
We’ve made some changes to welcome you back safely. Please visit the Community and Recreation Centre page for information.
Dumping Stations (RV)
All stations are open for the season (Sturgeon Falls, Verner, and Field). The water connection is not to be used to fill containers, large or small.
All locations are open as per regular business hours. Physical distancing of at least 2 meters must be maintained from anyone outside of our household. For hours of operation, visit the Landfills page.
Minnehaha Bay Marina
The Minnehaha Bay Municipal Marina is open with limited services. Premium gas is available. Boat slips can be accessed starting on June 4, 2021. Launching is available at no cost and with no assistance from staff. Parking is limited at this location and overnight parking is not permitted. For hours of operation, visit the Marina page.

The nature trail at the Sturgeon River House Museum is open. Please be mindful of the seasonal conditions and maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres from others. Face coverings are recommended when physical distancing is a challenge.
Parks and Playgrounds
Municipal parks and playgrounds are open subject to conditions and outdoor gathering restrictions. Please follow all public health guidelines and play safe. Team sports, or other sports or games where people may come within two metres of each other, are not permitted. Visit the Parks and Playgrounds page for restrictions and COVID-19 safety measures.

The Verner Fitness Room is closed until further notice.

In-person payment services are now available at the Municipal Office. We continue to encourage residents to make payments through their financial institution or by using the drop-off box located at the front of the Municipal Office.
Penalties and interest on 2021 tax installments are waived until July 2, 2021. Interest on the prior year’s taxes will continue. If 2021 installment 1 (March) and 2021 installment 2 (April) are not paid by June 30, interest will be applied on July 2.
