Residents can help protect the local wildlife and waterways by properly disposing of their hazardous waste. Leftover aerosols, paints, oils, chemicals, batteries, lightbulbs and medicines are harmful to the environment and to our health if they are disposed of in our local landfills.  

The West Nipissing Environmental Services team reminds residents to please bring these items to the Household Hazardous Waste Depot in North Bay, open from Wednesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no drop-off fee for residents of West Nipissing.
