Traffic Notice from the Ministry of Transportation

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is replacing the Little Cache Creek Culvert located on Highway 17 in the Township of Springer this year.  The work is anticipated to start in early June and should be completed by the end of October 2023.  

To complete the work, the ministry’s contractor needs to close access to Arcand Road and Lac Clair Road from Highway 17 between June and October 2023.  Residents residing in the area will continue to have access via a detour route.  Signage will be in place to clearly identify the detour route.  

We thank everyone for their patience during this construction season as we work to ensure the safety of motorists on Highway 17.
