Stay-at-Home Order Extended for our district, Toronto and Peel Public Health Regions until March 8

Ontario’s Declaration of Emergency and all orders in force under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, including the Stay-at-Home order, have been extended until February 9th.

The extension was expected when Premier Ford announced on Jan 12th that the state of emergency would be in effect for 28 days. This remains the case, however; a state of emergency in Ontario must be legally extended by the government 14 days after it comes into effect.
