As of September 22, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required to access certain public settings and facilities.

On September 1, the Government of Ontario announced that Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated in order to access certain businesses and public facilities. As of September 22, in accordance with public health orders, proof of vaccination will be required to access the Community and Recreation Centre (pool and gym) as well as arenas and municipal halls. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will be exempted from these requirements. Individuals wanting to access these facilities will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of vaccination along with a photo ID. In addition to this requirement, public health measures will remain in place at these facilities including; daily health screening upon entry; mandatory face covering; physical distancing; and enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures.
