A new commercial propane reservoir is being installed alongside Highway 17 near Gingras Road in Verner. Please be advised that a scheduled tank purge will take place on Monday, April 17 or Tuesday, April 18 as part of the installation. The tank does not yet contain fuel. The purging process utilizes a torch to flare out the air inside the tank.

During the purge, residents and motorists could see flames near the tank. Please be aware that this is standard practice. The purge is being performed by qualified professionals who are in contact with the West Nipissing Fire Department for due diligence.
