Please be advised that Ashburton Road in Field is closed until further notice due to water over the roadway creating unsafe driving conditions. The road will remain closed while Public Works continues to assess conditions.

With spring runoff and more rain in the forecast this week, we anticipate some roads may be in rough shape. Our Public Works crews are actively patrolling municipal roads, flagging safety hazards, and making necessary repairs. We are committed to ensuring public safety during this time of increased water levels and potential road washouts.

We thank residents who have reported concerns and ask for your continued cooperation. If you encounter water over a roadway, a washout, or other unsafe road conditions, please contact the Municipal Office at 705-753-2250 or 705-753-1170 after business hours.

Please exercise extreme caution when travelling on roads in low-lying areas or near bodies of water. If you are in an emergency situation, call 911 immediately.
