Our Water Distribution and Collection crew is performing preventive maintenance on water valves in Sturgeon Falls this week, (June 3, 5 and 6). Please see the map below to view the affected areas. This work is necessary to ensure the system functions properly and to help prevent future issues such as leaks or service interruptions.

As part of the maintenance, each segment will undergo hydrant flushing to reduce sediment and confirm that valves are operating correctly. During the work, occasional water service interruptions will occur, but we will work to keep them as short as possible.

As usual during hydrant flushing, if your water appears discoloured, run a cold water tap until it clears. We will provide updates if the work zone changes.
