Starting the week of July 7, 2025, John Street will be closed between the intersections of Michaud Street and Parker Street. Detours and signage will be in place. Local traffic and emergency services will have access. The work is part of a larger infrastructure replacement project. This phase of the project is anticipated to last until the end of October 2025.


About the John Street Rehabilitation Project

This rehabilitation project involves the road reconstruction and installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermain, subdrains and sidewalk of John Street from Clark Street to Nipissing Street in Sturgeon Falls. The multi-year project will impact intersections at Nipissing Street, Church Street, Arthur Street, Michaud Street, Carrie Street and Clark Street.
