Rules and Regulation
- Food and beverages are not permitted on the ice.
- All skaters must skate forward (not backward) in one direction, with the traffic flow and at a safe speed.
- No horseplay, loitering, tag, or other chase games are permitted.
- For skater safety, strollers, chairs, cones or sleds are not allowed on the ice.
- No shoes or boots are permitted on the ice for any reason.
- The use of a CSA approved helmet is strongly recommended while on the ice.
- Children must be supervised by an adult.

Hourly Rates
All prices include HST
- Adult Primetime $170
- Youth (Local) Primetime $122
- Youth (Non-Local) Primetime $160
- Adult and Youth (Local) Daytime $95
- Adult and Youth (Non-Local) Daytime $105
- Local School Daytime $3 per student or $95 per hour
Primetime hours are Monday to Friday at 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and all Saturdays and Sundays.
Daytime hours are Monday to Friday at 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Insurance
All facility rentals require proof of insurance. Renters may use their own insurance; in which case, the certificate must list the Municipality of West Nipissing as “additional insured”.
Alternatively, renters can use the online Insurance Portal, which is commonly used for one-time and hourly rentals. We will receive your insurance certificate once the steps below are completed:
- Create a profile and login.
- Get the coverage.
- Pay the insurer.
