The main purpose of the Sports Hall of Fame is to celebrate the names and achievements of those whose athletics prowess brought fame to their community, and to honour individuals whose devotion to sports resulted in a climate which benefited athletes and athletics in West Nipissing.

The hall is located at the West Nipissing Community and Recreation Centre (back entrance) at 210 Clark Street in Sturgeon Falls.
