Interested in becoming a lifeguard? Registration is now open for an upcoming Bronze Medallion course, the first step toward lifeguard certification. This course includes Emergency First Aid training and teaches essential lifesaving and water rescue skills.

Course: Bronze Medallion
Dates: February 3 to March 5, 2026
Final exam date: TBD
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $120
Prerequisites
Participants must:
- Comfortably swim 100 metres (4 lengths of the pool)
- Be at least 13 years old before the course begins
- Complete a swimming evaluation
