The Municipality of West Nipissing and the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce is inviting employers to learn how the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) can help address labour shortages, retain valuable employees and support long-term business growth.
An information session will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon at the West Nipissing Sports Hall of Fame, located at 210 Clark Street. The session is free to attend, and participants are asked to register.
The session will provide an overview of the RCIP, explain how the program works and outline how local businesses can get involved. The pilot offers a potential pathway for eligible employers to recruit skilled workers to help meet their workforce needs and support the continued growth of their businesses.
Local employers are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program and explore how it may help address their current and future staffing needs.
