TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Pre and post construction inspections are required.
2. Site plan drawings of proposed works or stake-outs must be obtained from all utilities in the Municipality of West Nipissing prior to commencing work. All exposed or undermined pipe, cable, etc. must be supported, backfilled and compacted to the satisfaction of the utility involved.
3. For all above ground utility structure, a 1.0 meter clearance to be maintained between all utilities, street furniture, trees, light poles, hydrants, etc.
4. All paved driveways, paved areas, trees, shrubs, monument, landscaping areas, are to be directional bore where possible, any open cut required within a tree drip line is to be hand excavated.
5. The guarantee period for restoration will start upon time of inspection and acceptance of the repairs by the Municipality.
6. Notice of construction approved by the Municipality of West Nipissing must be distributed to all adjacent dwellings and parties involved 48 hours prior to commencement of construction when practicable.
7. A traffic control plan is required.
8. The Municipality's utility inspector shall be notified 48 hours in advance of commencement of work by ema email or by calling 705-753-0952.
9. General road occupancy conditions apply to this permit as well as standard Ontario constructions practices.
10. A copy of the Street Work Permit must be onsite at all times while working to verify approval when requested by Municipal staff.
11. The Street Work Permit is not valid until approved and signed by a representative of the Municipality of West Nipissing.
12. Failure to comply with any of the conditions can result in an immediate stop work order.
