On Monday, September 19, the Municipal Office, the Community and Recreation Centre and the Sturgeon Falls landfill will be closed to observe the National Day of Mourning, to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Note that the Field landfill will remain open for operations, and garbage and recycling collection will not be affected. All other activities will resume on Tuesday, September 20.
