Last night, the West Nipissing Fire Services (WNFS) responded to a fire near Principale and Beaudin. During the firefighting efforts, a fire hydrant was used. As a result, some residents in the affected area may experience unusual discoloration, sediments, or deposits in their water supply. This is a temporary issue that can occur when there is a sudden change in water pressure.

What You Can Do: If you notice any discoloration or debris in your water, we recommend running a cold water tap for 15 minutes or until the water runs clear. This should help clear out any sediment or discoloration from your pipes.

If the issue persists or if you have any concerns, please report it to us at support@westnipissing.ca or by calling 705-753-2250.
