In observance of Remembrance Day, the following facilities will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025:
the Municipal Office, the Community and Recreation Centre, the Sturgeon Falls Landfill, and the Sturgeon River House Museum.
Change to curbside waste collection
Curbside waste collection scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, has been moved up to Monday, November 10.
* This change does not affect waste collection for Verner residents since collection is conducted by an independent contractor.
* This change does not affect recycling collection by GFL Environmental. Tuesday recycling routes will be collected as usual.
