Free landfill access will be available to residents of Cache Bay, Springer, and Sturgeon Falls as part of the yearly Spring Cleanup program.
Free Disposal Dates and Hours:
- Saturday, May 2: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Monday to Friday, May 4–8: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 9: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Monday to Friday, May 11–15: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Details:
- Maximum limit: 3 cubic yards of household waste per household
- Accepted materials: Household waste only
- Not accepted: Commercial, construction, demolition or hazardous waste
Residents are reminded that household hazardous materials can be disposed of free of charge at the Hazardous Waste Site in North Bay. The Household Hazardous Waste Depot is open Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and located at the Waste Diversion Facility (off Station Road).
