Sections of Highway 539 will be closing temporarily throughout July 2024 to allow for the Ministry of Transportation to replace deep-fill culverts. The closures are scheduled as follows:

• Closure #1 – from 11.5 km north of Highway 17, northerly 10.2 km
  July 8 at 7:00 am to July 12 at 7:00 pm
  
  
• Closure #2 – from 6.4 km north of Highway 17, northerly 1.7 km
  July 15 at 7:00 am to July 19 at 7:00 pm
  
  
• Closure #3 – from 6.4 km north of Highway 17, northerly 1.3 km
  July 22 at 7:00 am to July 26 at 7:00 pm
  

During these closures, the Highway will be open to local traffic only, no through traffic will be available.

Traffic will be rerouted across Highway 575 from Verner to Field. The detour route will be clearly marked.
