Water Valve Replacement in Verner August 11-12, 2026

August 11, 2026 through to 5 p.m. on August 12 : Water service will be temporarily shut off intermittently for a water valve replacement in the area of Principal st. East and West, Pilon Street, and Champlain Street. Affected residences were notified by letter.

*Unplanned work: On August 11, 2026 an Enbridge gas line was unexpectedly affected by this project. The Fire Department worked with Enbridge gas to mitigate issues. A few locations had to be evacuated.

August 12, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. : The westbound lane of Principal Street will be closed at the intersection of Principal and Paquette to allow crews to complete a valve replacement.
