Notice of Vacancies on the Committee of Adjustment – Accepting Applications

The Municipality of West Nipissing is currently seeking applicants to fill two (2) vacancies on the Committee of Adjustment. The committee is a quasi-judicial tribunal and an independent body of Council-appointed citizen members. It reviews applications for minor variances to land and building use to ensure changes are in line with the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw and makes decisions under the Planning Act. Members will receive a stipend (honorarium) in accordance with the Municipality’s policy for boards and committee members.

Residents interested in serving on this committee are encouraged to submit a completed Application Formby June 15, 2026.
