The Municipality of West Nipissing confirms that the 2026 Municipal Elections results have been reviewed and declared by the Municipal Clerk/Returning Officer as of October 27, 2026.
The elected officials for the 2026–2030 term of Council are as follows:

- Ward 2: Yvon Renaud
- Ward 3: Corrin Smith
- Ward 4: Jamie Restoule
- Ward 5: Kaitlynn Nicol
- Ward 6: Roland Larabie
- Ward 7: Fernand Pellerin
- Ward 8: Georges Pharand
Voter turnout totalled 7,018 participants, representing 46.6% of eligible voters. The electronic voting system, provided by Intelivote Systems Inc., also recorded instances in which voters participated in the voting process but opted to decline or abstain from voting.

Council’s Inauguration Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. The first regular meeting of Council is scheduled for December 1, 2026.
The Municipality thanks all residents who participated in the 2026 election and all candidates who put their names forward to serve the public. Appreciation is also extended to the election staff and everyone who contributed to the administration of the election.
