Please be advised that new Planning and Building user fees are now in effect. The adjusted pricing affects permit fees for new construction, additions, renovations/alternations, land consent/severances, minor variances, subdivision and condominium approvals, and other zoning and planning-related needs.  

Recommendations for increases were brought to Council for review during the Council Meeting of March 07, 2023. Council and Staff studied comparator data showing that the Planning and Building fees in West Nipissing were well below those of other municipalities. While all other costs were increasing, these fees had remained relatively static since 2018 for the Building department, and 2011 for the Planning department. The resolution to increase user fees was passed at the Council Meeting held on March 21, 2023.
